Twas the night before Christmas...

And all through our house, every creature was stirring...although, thankfully, I haven't seen any mice yet. It is our first Christmas Eve at home in...well...ever really for us. We usually celebrate with Paul's family on Christmas Eve and my mom's side Christmas morning, but as Everett is so little and Tucker is so unpredictable, we are staying at home this year, hibernating you might say. Everett is doing well. He hardly ever cries (which I am very grateful for). He sleeps in three and a half hour stints at night (which I am also very grateful for) and I think we are improving on nursing. I had a Le Leche League Leader over yesterday to check everything out and give us some pointers so that hopefully he is getting everything he needs and at our appointment on the third he will be nice and big.

Tucker and Daddy have been having a blast playing together non-stop. Tucker demonstrated for us how he doesn't really need toys. This bag used to hold his Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, now it just holds his head....

Ever since Grandma Joyce bought him a Frosty the Snowman video, Tucker LOVES Frosty. He loves Frosty more than Santa and it has taken a lot of work to get him to understand that it is Santa and not Frosty bringing his presents. So of course, when he and daddy were playing outside they had to make a Frosty, and they certainly had an interesting take on the old classic...

And then just to prove that we truly are a house full of boys, we had to attack Frosty...They do have a softer side though...here are all the boys cuddling...

We hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas! We certainly will!
