As the Christmas season approaches, it is VERY important to us that we use the opportunity to teach the boys how important it is to give back. Today we went through the house and gathered all of the toys the boys don't use anymore to donate. Tucker was very generous, wanting to put all of his toys in the bag (we saved a few back just in case). In the end we came up with 2 bags of stuff to give to people who need it. The boys learn to donate, others benefit, and we have more room in our house...that's what I call a win, win, win situation.
If this has inspired you to get into the giving spirit of the season, we have started a fundraising page for our family for the Holiday Season. This time we are raising money for Habitat for Humanity so that everyone might have a cozy place to celebrate the Holidays! I know times are tight but if you have the means and the mind, even the smallest amount can help someone in need.

We did the same thing yesterday with Victoria! We ended up with TONS of stuff going to Goodwill. Victoria sort of understood the idea, and by the end of the cleanup she was willing to part with a lot. It's a great feeling!
